Perak battle moves to Court of Appeal
UPDATED VERSION. 3 hours vs. 5 days?
Yesterday, Zambry filed in his stay application at the Court of Appeal at 9.30am, case heard at 11.30pm, and verdict granted by 1.15pm.
Today, Nizar filed his application to set aside the stay order at the Court of Appeal at 2.20pm. His lawyers also filed a certificate of urgency for the hearing.
However, Kit Siang twitter-ed at 4.30pm that the waiting game is still on.
UPDATES: Kit Siang twitter-ed again at 4.48pm: Understand Nizar's appln may be fixed Monday, 18th. Five days while Zambry can get his appln heard in less than 3 hours. "Performance Now"Malaysian Insider reported that Nizar's lawyers were made to wait for over one and a half hours for the Court of Appeal registrar to get the hearing date fixed.
