All Pakatan Rakyat executive councillors in Perak have swung into action without wasting any time, said senior exco member Ngeh Koo Ham today.
He also announced that 14 local councils will swear in councillors latest by tomorrow in order to function properly.
"Also 817 village chiefs have been issued letters to carry out their duties. The Land Office has also been instructed to issue freehold (land) titles," he told a press conference at the state secretariat building in Ipoh.
Ngeh said the Ipoh central bus project will proceed as planned while parking fees will be reduced to 30 sen with immediate effect.
The DAP state chief announced that the 2009 Sukan Perak has been cancelled, while allocations will be channeled towards sports at the district levels.
"We'll redeem the three months wasted during the Perak crisis," he said.
