After more than four months, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak attempted today to put together a cogent case on why the power grab in Perak was justified. He also moved to absolve the Sultan of Perak and himself from any blame for the defections from Pakatan Rakyat (PR) and the installation of a Barisan Nasional (BN) mentri besar.
Najib's oft-quoted statement to justify his action and defend himself: “Don’t forget that on Sept 16 last year, who had wanted to steal 21 of our members of parliament..."
But this is the first time Najib admitted to stealing, saying: "...But when he failed, and we succeeded in Perak, we were then said to be undemocratic. We have been accused of seizing power."

<<< Flashback
With regards to the in(famous) failed attempt to takeover the government, Anwar said on Sep 24, 2008, "I appeal to Malaysian citizens, particularly those who want to see a change, to understand this and be a bit more patient because we do not want to transgress the constitution, rules and procedures," he told a press conference.
No doubt defections are allowed (no anti-hopping law mah) but they are not regarded as ethical. So, both Anwar and Najib were unethical to accept defectors. Najib admitted that Anwar failed to steal but he succeeded to steal! How clever Najib!
Najib is still not yet the people's PM. He knows it. He is the Umno-appointed PM and not elected by the people.
