On Sunday, April 10 2011, I had the chance to visit the exhibition "Our Land Within" after lunch at WIP Bangsar.
The exhibition was in conjunction with the launch of the book "Our Land Within - Passages Through Southeast Asian Communities" – a captivating book that explores Southeast Asia’s diverse communities, their intricate ties and rich heritage through first person narratives. Indeed, I was captivated by the photos and their accompanying captions, particularly one entitled 'Time'. It was the photo of 115-year-old Imu Kaya whose face of serenity attracted me. I went close to it and read the caption:
